It was an enjoyable experience spending a week @ AIIMS Jammu. Visit included giving talks at IITJ. This was followed by a talk @ Delhi in the CII Health Summit Plenary session – full details in the link

IIM Jammu revisited. Following a single talk a few weeks ago @ IIMJ, based on students feedback, the very forward looking MBA in Hospital Administration & Healthcare Management programme (joint degree offered by AIIMS, IIM and IIT all in Jammu) directors took an uncommon step of inviting me as a Visiting Faculty.

After all the views of a clinician with 77 years experience (concurrently!!) in a Corporate, Public and Trust hospital in Madras would be different! The fact that the speaker was familiar with many aspects of Digital Health and technology enabled healthcare was the icing on the cake.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, a fervent appeal is being made to all the registered delegates attending the THIT 2026 conference @ Hyderabad on Jan 30 / 31st 2026. To accommodate speakers of International and National standing within 17 hours, the normal solution would be to have parallel sessions and assume that IST stood for Indian Stretchable Time.

Is Teleradiology & Telepathology in India Legal – Stirring a Hornet's Nest!! published on 18th Feb 2025

Embarrassed with the title. The Telehealth family in India was actually produced by dozens of fathers certainly not one single individual. Though the gestation period was an unbelievable 20 years the children have telescoped infancy, pre adolescence and adolescence into hardly 12 months and have emerged as an amazing group of children all fathers will be delighted with. We the founding fathers will in our life time hope to see the birth of a new generation , a new species *Homo telemedicus* . Even more amazing is the interest in the growth and development of Telehealth in India - outside India. We will no longer talk about Make In Bharath . We will not just talk. We will demonstrate that soon the world will strive to achieve India class . It will no longer be Made in India . It will be Made in India for the world !!
